Clinical Services

The newest buzzword in pharmacy is “clinical services” or some concept of clinical or medical billable services performed by one or more pharmacy personnel.  These experiences will provide insight into opportunities for pharmacy personnel to advance additional patient interactions that can provide extra revenue streams.

In Missouri, pharmacists can become listed as providers to bill medical components of various programs (including MTM billing) monthly to annually. We can walk in
Nutraceuticals is an expanding aspect of an old term, often referred to as homeopathic therapies. Specific conditions, plus many of modern therapies, are known to remove essential nutrients from our bodies, and dietary changes have eliminated even more from us today. These courses can assist in expanding your knowledge and applicability of these options to patients.
Too many times we leave items on the table, because patients could utilize specific products we have and don't inform them of the need or accessibility within our stores. This course helps train you on opportunities to help involve your patients in your store: supplements, pain therapies, wound care, specialty care, and more. Become the "hub" for your communities' needs.
Clinical Services continue to expand in pharmacy options, and vary from state to state. Additional stores are beginning to offer services, but many do not have them mastered to date. These trainings help identify workflow opportunities and best practices to implement additional options and find your best clinical revenues for your community needs.
Complete Clinic Setup is an extensive program where pharmacists and certified personnel (CPhT, CHW-c, etc.) are able to operate under a working set of orders for medical options that are primarily patient education, monitoring, care management and coordination, plus additional interactions. The purpose here is to fill coverage gaps, provide missing education, and become a hub for your community's healthcare.
